Abacus may be something new to you, but the good news is that it has a finite curriculum. For most children it’s a 12-24 month commitment for about an hour a week to really adopt this technique and excel at Mind Math.
You will obviously see incremental results much quicker than that, but if you are going to start, go in with the intent of completing the program with them.
You will be amazed at the results!
Now most parents are concerned that their children learn better with teachers than with them. That may be true. But after years of teaching the Abacus, we find that children who excel are generally those whose parents are engaged with them in the Abacus learning process and practice consistently with them.
